Hi Folks!  

(NOTE: I no longer own this drone, for a bunch of reasons, but I think that whatever information is here may be entertaining or useful, and it chronicles a lot of my initial experiences with the drone, so I've kept this on line.  Enjoy!)

Welcome to a blog that I've started to track my experiences with a "new to me"  DJI F550 "Flame Wheel" Hexacopter that I have purchased.  Hopefully this will be a fun and educational experience for me, and for you readers as well as I tinker with and try to upgrade and improve it as time goes by.  Since a big part of this will be configuring it for use as a camera platform, with any luck at all you should be seeing some nice aerial shots before long.
